Meet Megan, a mother of two charming young boys. Hugo and Gus serve as her newfound motivation to maintain strength and fitness, as keeping pace with their boundless energy is a constant adventure.

With firsthand experience of being a busy mother, combined with her extensive qualifications and wealth of experience, entrusting yourself to her care ensures you are in capable hands.

My passion for physical fitness and health began at a young age as a NZ high performance gymnast. It was a natural progression for me to follow this up with a career in the industry. I have studied at both Waikato and Canterbury universities, achieving a Bachelor of Sport + Recreation, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Secondary PE teaching. I have 15 years experience in the industry throughout New Zealand, Australia and the Middle East. I love using my knowledge and expertise to push my clients outside their comfort zones in a safe and motivating environment, but most of all watch them thrive and reach their full potential.

As humans, our values are important as they help us to grow, develop and succeed. Ultimately they help us create the best possible future for ourselves. With physical fitness and training, there are a few key philosophies that are important to me when setting goals, training and measuring personal success.

My Training Philosophies

  • Get out of your comfort zone.

Sometimes the daunting idea of venturing into the unknown can makes us give up before we even begin. Start slow, gradually expose yourself to new boundaries. It is outside of your comfort zone where the magic happens.

  • Comparison kills.

Always stay focused on your own goals. Don’t get distracted by what someone else is doing or achieving. You have no idea what someone’s goals are, what motivates them or how they live. What works for someone else may not work for you.

  • Consistency is your friend.

Results don’t happen overnight. Without consistency forming sustainable life habits is challenging. But if you consistently put in the effort and time you will reap all the benefits of wellness.

  • Mix it up

Shock the body, change the way you train and regularly try different things.  Keep your body on its toes and don’t let it get comfortable. Indoors to outdoors, low intensity to high intensity, road running to hills, yoga to a sport.
